Mary Queen of Scots Beheaded!

This day in history in 1587 – Mary Queen of Scots was beheaded! Oh no!

For Friday fun, just a clip from the early movie industry depicting the beheading.. of course.. as you will tell by the poor “graphics/special effects” that this wasn’t the real beheading (No cameras/video in 1587 people!)

Properly named the Execution of Mary Stuart, this short.. short.. film was completed in 1895. Happy Friday!

(I’ll advise that this is probably PG/PG-13.. depending on your parenting style ;-) )

I prefer Monty Python’s version of the Death of Mary Queen of Scots

Classic Dr. Schneid – Thanks for the recommendation on this.. I’ve been telling Robin for awhile that we should have a Monty Python marathon!
